What is the most efficient way to learn Spanish or any other language?

Why is it so hard for adult students to learn Spanish compared to children?

I thinks it boils down to the reason why you are studying it, if you are studying just for fun it will take you more time because you will put in less effort. If you are studying it to earn a living, i think you will grasp it faster because of the pressure that is on you.

Because the human brain is like the "hard disk" of a computer. If the disk has availible or empty space, it will storage all useful information vital for survival. Adult brains are quite full; it's filled with knowledge adquired through time and living experience, and which is currently in use.
